Najada Hamza was born in Tirana, Albania and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. At the age of 10 Najada decided she would be an artist. In order to escape the severity of a difficult life, she painted for children and during those difficult years her art evolved from deep within.

 

With great sensitivity, using different materials such as textile, coins, papyrus and raffia, mixed with acrylic, each work exposes her "personal spirit." Her work has been exhibited in Austria, England, Greece, Ireland, Italy and the USA.
